It is with profound sadness and heartache that the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Dwayne Young of Fishing Lake first Nation on Friday, February 27, 2026, 

Born April 30,1959, Dwayne had a way of bringing joy and laughter to everyone he encountered. Dwayne was a hard worker throughout his life; which enhanced his creativity through his wood work. Dwayne was a family orientated man. 

He was predeceased by his late wife Debbie Young; great grandparents Charlie and Marie Young, George and Alice Nataucappo; siblings Alvin, Phillis, Stan, Clarence and Garry. 

Dwayne is survived by his mother Rose Young; loving children Cody Bird, Dianna ( Andrew) Young, Billie (Katie) Young, Dwayne Young Jr, and Wyatt Young; sibings Delores, Kenny (Brenda), Allan, Renee, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friends Ray and Daryl.  

A wake will be held in Dwayne's honor on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 4 PM in the school gymnasium on Muscowpetung First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10 AM in the same location. Interment in the Young Cemetery, Muscowpetung First Nation
